See Faith No More’s Frenzied 1986 Concert With Singer Chuck Mosley

Two recordings from I-Beam gig appear on band’s recent ‘We Care a Lot’ reissue

Faith No More recently reissued their 1985 debut LP We Care a Lot as a deluxe edition complete with new mixes, demos and a pair of recordings from the band’s 1986 concert at San Francisco’s I-Beam. To further commemorate the reissue, the group has shared live footage of the entirety of that I-Beam concert, which featured original vocalist Chuck Mosley.

In addition to “The Jungle” and “New Beginnings,” which appear on the reissue, the January 13th, 1986 gig features live renditions of all 10 of We Care a Lot‘s tracks, including the title cut, “Mark Bowen” and “Pills for Breakfast.”

Over 30 years after the I-Beam concert, and 28 years after Mike Patton replaced Mosley in the band, fans were able to relive this iteration of Faith No More, albeit much older, when the group reunited with Mosley for a pair of concerts last week in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

While Mosley has performed onstage with Faith No More on a pair of occasions since their 2009 reunion, the shows marked the first time Mosley reprised his lead singer role alongside Billy Gould, Mike Bordin, Roddy Bottum and Jon Hudson since Mosley’s 1988 exit.
