See DJ Shadow, Run the Jewels Perform Brassy ‘Nobody Speak’ on ‘Fallon’

Rap duo and pioneering producer dedicate performance “to all the victims of violence from Chicago to Orlando”

Hours after unveiling their clever new lyric video, DJ Shadow and Run the Jewels appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to tear through their collaborative track "Nobody Speak," off Shadow's upcoming album The Mountain Will Fall.

The performance featured the pioneering producer, El-P and Killer Mike teaming up with a saxophonist and trumpeter for a brassy rendition of the track, which also boasted a scratch solo by Shadow. "Dedicated to all the victims of violence from Chicago to Orlando," Killer Mike said as "Nobody Speak" cut to a close. El-P then pulled open his jacket to reveal a rainbow heart stitched into the inner flap.

The Mountain Will Fall, Shadow's first LP since 2011's The Less You Know, the Better, is due out June 24th. In addition to Run the Jewels, the album also sports appearances by Nils Frahm, Matthew Hansall, Ernie Fresh, Bleep Bloop and G Jones.
