See Banks Sing Among Writhing Nudes in ‘Better’ Video

Banks sings a lilting melody, pleading that she can “love you better than she,” amid a chorus of eerie background vocals and crashing synths in “Better,” the first new song she’s released since her 2014 debut Goddess. The video for the clip shows her covered in gold, her face obscured, as a nude women contorts her body on the floor.

In addition to “Better,” the singer also announced plans for a new album in 2016, though a specific release date has yet to be announced. Her last release, Goddess, made Rolling Stone’s list of the 20 Best R&B Albums of 2014.

Meanwhile, though, she is prepping to hit the road with the Weeknd for a run of fall dates in North America. The tour will kick off on November 3rd in Toronto and run through December 9th in Inglewood, California.
