See Autolux’s Mesmerizing ‘Brainwasher’ Video

Autolux will end fans’ six-year wait for a new album next week with the arrival of Pussy’s Dead, the band’s third LP and first on Danger Mouse’s new 30th Century Records imprint. After previewing a pair of new album cuts – “Soft Scene” and “Change My Head” – the trio have unveiled the mesmerizing video for “Brainwasher,” which is available to download now for fans who preorder Pussy’s Dead.

As an added bonus to Apple Music subscribers, Pussy’s Dead is available for streaming in its entirety now, one week ahead of its April 1st release date. After a series of gigs at SXSW, Autolux have embarked on a North American tour that includes stops at festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza and Sasquatch.

Autolux boasts Failure guitarist Greg Edwards, world-class drummer Carla Azar and bassist Eugene Goreshter. In August, Autolux spoke to Rolling Stone about why they aligned with Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton’s fledgling label. “In the dreamless world of the music industry, it’s rare to find a champion who wants to use the business to promote the art rather than the art to promote the business,” the band said. “When Brian heard our record, it was clear he understood what we are doing and where we want to go.”
