See Andy Samberg, Adam Levine Debut ‘I’m So Humble’ on ‘The Voice’

A four-time Grammy-winning artist made their television debut Tuesday as Connor4Real – the Bieber-like alter ego of Andy Samberg in the upcoming comedy Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping – premiered his new song “I’m So Humble” alongside guest Adam Levine on The Voice. The single, courtesy of Samberg’s comedy troupe the Lonely Island, arrived earlier in the day along with another track from the film, “Mona Lisa.”
Since it was Connor4Real’s first televised performance, The Voice went all out, turning the reality singing competition stage into a Fifties diner where Samberg and Levine delivered the playful track in letterman jackets. Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, which also stars Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, arrives June 3rd.
In addition to the “Humble” performance, Connor4Real also visited with this season’s Voice competitors to drop some knowledge about what it takes to thrive in the music industry. “You know what’s a good piece of advice? If I’m ever at an event, and you really don’t want to be there, but you show up and you tell someone on your team to come in after a little bit of time and say ‘I’m so sorry, I have to pull him.’ And then I could be like, ‘Oh damn, I’m so sorry,'” Connor4Real recommended. “I still look like a good guy. I don’t disappoint them. It seems like it’s just business.”
