A$AP Mob conjured up One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest vibes for their unique, off-kilter “special performance” of “Crazy Brazy” on the Late Show.
Keeping with the title of the Cozy Tapes Vol. 1: Friends track, the Harlem-based collective don straitjackets and pester nurses as the Ed Sullivan Theatre is transformed into a mini-asylum.
A$AP Rocky is wheeled onto the stage via wheelchair to kick off “Crazy Brazy,” while A$AP Twelvvy delivers his verses wearing a blue robe and holding a teddy bear.
Following the quirky performance, Rocky sneaks bunny ears behind Stephen Colbert’s head during the obligatory show-ending sendoff.
In addition to the Late Show performance, A$AP Mob also announced the participants for this year’s Yams Day, their annual celebration of their late producer A$AP Yams.
A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Joey Badass, Danny Brown, Lil Uzi Vert, the Flatbush Zombies, Cam’ron, T-Pain and Tyler, the Creator will take part in this year’s Yams Day, scheduled to go down January 18th at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York.
