Second Person Confirmed Dead at Bonnaroo

24-year-old man died of hyperthermia on Sunday


Officials in Manchester, Tennessee have confirmed the death of a second audience member at the 10th annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. 24-year-old Christopher William Yoder of Raleigh, North Carolina died of hyperthermia early on Sunday shortly after being airlifted from the festival grounds to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.

On Thursday, the first day of the event, Bonnaroo staff found the body of a 32-year-old woman from Pittsburgh in a tent at the festival. An autopsy will soon be performed to determine her cause of death.

According to Coffee County Sheriff Stephen M. Graves, these are the only known fatalities at this year's festival, which hosted an estimated 80,000 attendees between Thursday and Sunday.
