Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland will
serve three years probation as a consequence of his May drug bust.
Weiland was sentenced on Thursday in Pasadena, California, on

If the singer meets those terms for a year, the rest of the term
could be commuted and his case tossed out. In the meantime, Weiland
and the rest of Velvet Revolver plan to record their debut album
