Scissor Sisters ‘Shady Love’
New single 'Shady Love' features Azealia Banks
Scissor Sisters have thrown the first pop curveball of the year with their new single, “Shady Love.” Though the New York City band is best known for turning Seventies and Eighties kitsch into slick modern pop, the new single is both a surprising turn toward hip-hop and a return to their sleazy dance-pop roots in the electroclash scene of the early 2000s.
The track, which was produced by electro producer Boys Noize and features up-and-coming rapper Azealia Banks on a guest verse, is an over-the-top banger that totally shakes up their fans’ expectations for their fourth album, due out sometime early this year.
