Earlier this week, Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears tweeted about doing "something insanely cool with some fierce Queens," and followed it up with a picture of him with Queens of the Stone Age. Shears also tweeted about singing together with QOTSA frontman Josh Homme, and according to Antiquiet.com, Shears is a guest on the band's new record.

Homme appeared in a promo clip for the Scissor Sisters' Magic Hour earlier this year. Shears joins Dave Grohl, Trent Reznor and original QOTSA bassist Nick Oliveri on the new QOTSA record.
