Schoolboy Q Reveals ‘Blank Face LP’ Title, Cover Art

Schoolboy Q has announced the title to his new album. The follow-up to 2014’s Oxymoron, his Blank Face LP will be released this summer via Top Dawg Entertainment.
The rapper announced the album title on Tuesday via Twitter and also unveiled the album cover. The artwork features a version of the “Crying Jordan” meme, but Jordan’s face is altered and his features (and tears) are indistinguishable in the black-and-white photo depiction.
Schoolboy Q has recently been teasing songs that may presumably appear on his forthcoming record. Last month he unveiled the surreal video for “THat Part” featuring Kanye West, and in April he revealed the gritty “Groovy Tony.” Earlier in the year, Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith shared a photo of a dry erase board that showed a Schoolboy Q record was in the works this year while teasing fellow TDE rapper Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album release.
In May, Schoolboy Q confirmed that his new album would be released on July 8th.
