Say Goodbye To Neverland: Michael Jackson To Auction 2,000 Items
Maybe it’s the recession, maybe because the loss of the Neverland Ranch he has left him with nowhere to house his stuff or maybe because he’s just feeling charitable, Michael Jackson will auction over 2,000 items next April through Julien’s Auctions, with a portion of the proceeds going to the MusiCares charity. Among the items up for bid include “an astounding array of Fine & Decorative Art items,” life-size sculptures, paintings, arcade games and memorabilia from the King of Pop’s career, including the highlight: Jacko’s glittery glove from the “Billie Jean” video. The auction is so extensive, a six-volume book was printed just to detail every lot. Bids can be submitted starting in February, with the auction kicking off with a live telecast on the Auction Network on April 21st.
