Sasquatch! 2015: Robert Plant, Modest Mouse, Kendrick Lamar Headline

Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters, Modest Mouse and Kendrick Lamar will headline the 2015 Sasquatch! Festival, scheduled for Memorial Day weekend (May 22nd through 25th) at the legendary Gorge Amphitheatre in Quincy, Washington. Lana Del Rey, Ryan Adams, the Decemberists, St. Vincent, Spoon, James Blake and the New Pornographers will also play the fest’s 14th edition. Festival passes will go on sale Saturday, February 7th at 10 a.m. PST through the Sasquatch! website.
The rest of the 2015 lineup is equally diverse – from psychedelic rock (Tame Impala, the War on Drugs) to electro-pop (Hot Chip, Chromeo, Little Dragon) to hip-hop (Run the Jewels, Schoolboy Q) to indie-folk (Of Monsters and Men). The full list of performers is available below.
Last year’s Sasquatch! brought a sold-out crowd to the idyllic venue, which overlooks the Columbia River Gorge. The Memorial Day weekend lineup featured big-draw headliners like a reunited Outkast, hard-rock veterans Queens of the Stone Age and indie-rockers the National – but organizers were forced to cancel a planned second leg scheduled for Fourth of July weekend following lackluster ticket sales. That weekend was set to feature performances from acts like Soundgarden, New Order, Frank Ocean, Kraftwerk and Neutral Milk Hotel, among many others.
“The Sasquatch! community has spoken,” said Live Nation Seattle President Jeff Trisler in a statement. “They continue to support the traditional Memorial Day Weekend event with great enthusiasm. Unfortunately, the second weekend was not embraced. We felt it was better to cancel the new event now and give everyone time to make alternative plans for the Fourth of July weekend. Going forward, Sasquatch! Music Festival will be at the Gorge Amphitheatre on the weekend the fans want: Memorial Day Weekend only.”
