Red Bull’s artist development program, Sound Select, has announced its month-long music discovery series, Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in L.A., which features 60 genre-spanning artists playing shows across 30 local venues throughout November. The eclectic line-up includes Chance the Rapper, Death From Above 1979, Juicy J, Dum Dum Girls, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Real Estate, Future Islands, Warpaint, Cut Copy, Bad Religion and the Head and the Heart.
The series will feature curated events every night in November, with venues chosen specifically for the artists (including A$AP Mob at the Palladium and a block party with Cut Copy). Since the vision of the series is for “music fans to see artists they love and discover new favorites,” none of the sets will overlap.
In addition to the wide variety of established acts, 30 Days will also help bring exposure for up-and-coming Red Bull Sound Select acts (including Shy Girls, Gemini Club, Thurz, Wrestlers, denitia and sene and Tink).
The month-long music celebration will also feature events at non-traditional venues, including Wax on Wax, a vinyl DJ night at Madame Tussauds. Fans can buy tickets by becoming a free Red Bull Sound Select member at the event’s website. Tickets to each event are priced at $15 or less per show.
A full breakdown of the line-up with artist info is available at the Sound Select website.
