Rolling Stone Live: North Mississippi All Stars Play Stripped-Down Blues
Luther and Cody Dickinson perform blues tunes inspired by their father's death

Luther and Cody Dickinson of the southern rock and blues band North Mississippi All Stars recently came by the Rolling Stone office to perform stripped-down versions of four selections from their new album Keys to the Kingdom, including a rendition of Bob Dylan’s “Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again.” After the set, Rolling Stone‘s David Fricke spoke to the Dickinson brothers about their experience touring with Robert Plant and how the death of their father, the legendary Memphis musician and producer Jim Dickinson, influenced their new material.
