Rolling Stone will return to the Windy City next month with the perfect Lollapalooza hangover antidote – our annual Live: Chicago event. The afternoon will spotlight sets by some of the festival’s most exciting artists, including a rare, not-to-be-missed acoustic performance by EDM headliner Kygo. It all makes for a perfect complement to the festivities going on in the city’s Grant Park.

Kygo – whom Rolling Stone named one of the must-see acts at Coachella earlier this year – is best known for his downtempo remixes of songs by Coldplay (“Midnight”) and Ed Sheeran (“I See Fire”), as well as his own chill, “tropical house” mixes and soulful dance-pop hits “Firestone” and “Stole the Show.” His Rolling Stone acoustic performance will provide an intimate and stripped-down contrast to the massive, dancey set that the 23-year-old producer will play to close out Lollapalooza on Sunday.

The event will also feature performances by two of Lollapalooza’s most dynamic performers, cinematic dance-pop architects Galantis and an acoustic set by soulful indie-pop singer Marina and the Diamonds. Like Kygo, both Marina and Galantis have sets scheduled for Sunday during the festival.

Last by not least, R&B singer Cramer – whose delicately transcendent vocals and catchy, emotional songwriting helped her become one of the winners of the Hyundai GRAMMY Amplifier Program – will also perform. She found out she won the contest earlier this year at Rolling Stone’s Austin event at South By Southwest.

The festivities, which include free gourmet brunch and cocktails and are presented by Hyundai and Transitions adaptive lenses, will take place at Chicago’s Studio Paris from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 1st.
