Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks will make their first late night television appearance in four years tonight when they stop by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The former Pavement frontman and his band will play a number from their excellent new record Mirror Traffic, though it’s anyone’s guess what song they might choose to play – the first single, “Senator,” hinges on the line “what the senator wants is a blowjob,” so that probably won’t fly with the FCC.
