Back in 2003, guitarist Ian Love parted ways with the New York post-hardcore outfit Rival Schools after the release of their debut LP and two years of extensive touring. With the addition of longtime friend and musician Chris Traynor, the new lineup spent the next year writing and recording in various studios around New York. The bits and pieces that leaked onto the Internet, often with made-up song titles, were referred to as a “lost album” – and now, those tracks have been remastered and will see release as Found, out April 9th on United By Fate. (You can pre-order over at the band’s website). Here, take a listen to one of those cuts, “Indisposable Heroes,” a steady-paced rocker that grows anthemic under the weight of a haunting, jagged-edge guitar riff.
