Rising R&B Singer Sampha Preps Debut LP ‘Process’

British R&B artist Sampha will release his debut album, Process, February 3rd via Young Turks.
The 10-track record will feature previously released cuts “Blood on Me” and “Timmy’s Prayer” and was produced by Sampha and Rodaidh McDonald. The LP is available to pre-order.
Sampha will also embark on a world tour following the release of Process, with a short North American leg scheduled to start February 6th at the Metro in Chicago. The trek will include stops in Washington D.C., New York, Montreal and Toronto before Sampha heads to Europe in March and Australia and New Zealand in May.
While Process will be Sampha’s debut LP, the musician previously released two EPs: 2010’s Sundanza and 2013’s Dual. He has also worked extensively with SBTRKT, providing vocals and some production on the British producer’s two albums, SBTRKT and Wonder Where We Land.
Sampha has also become an in-demand writer, producer and guest artist, collaborating with FKA Twigs, Jessie Ware and Drake. In 2016, he appeared on several notable projects, such as Kanye West’s “Saint Pablo” – a late addition to The Life of Pablo – Frank Ocean’s Endless (vocals on “Alabama”) and Solange’s A Seat at the Table, scoring writing and production credits on several tracks and guesting on “Don’t Touch My Hair.”
