Refused Cap Off New York Gigs With Secret Show

Monday night in Manhattan, reunited Swedish punk band Refused played their second of two well-received and quickly sold-out shows at Terminal 5 – a venue with a capacity of 3,000.
Roughly an hour after the curtain fell at Terminal 5, the band was in Brooklyn, setting up their gear for a secret show at Acheron – a venue with a capacity of just 150. It was an unexpected and fitting salute to the fans from a group who never warmed up to keeping anyone out.
Here’s how it went down.

After playing for thousands of people, it looks like Refused is playing a secret show for about 75 at a venue I’m at frequently, The Acheron
