Radiohead Play meditative ‘Bloom’ on the BBC

Watch the band perform opening track from ‘The King of Limbs’ on the BBC

Radiohead have avoided the stage since releasing their 8th album The King of Limbs earlier this year, emerging only to play a brief set at the Glastonbury festival earlier this month and film an appearance on the BBC series In the Basement. That live special, which premiered on the BBC a few weeks ago, will air in the United States on the Palladia channel on Saturday, July 23rd at 9 p.m. ET and MTV2 on Saturday, July 30th at 3 a.m. ET. The show will feature the band performing all eight songs from The King of Limbs, plus two brand new, unreleased songs called “The Daily Mail” and “Staircase.” In this exclusive clip, the band plays a meditative, slowly unfolding rendition of “Bloom,” the album’s jazzy opening number.
