Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Lionel Richie Top Outside Lands Lineup
Radiohead will headline San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival alongside the recently reunited LCD Soundsystem and Lionel Richie.
Other big names set for the festival include J. Cole, Lana Del Rey, Duran Duran, Sufjan Stevens, Ryan Adams, Air, Zedd, Grimes, Miguel, Halsey, Beach House, Jason Isbell, Chance the Rapper, the Last Shadow Puppets, Kehlani, Miike Snow, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, Major Lazer, Big Grams (Big Boi and Phantogram), Third Eye Blind, Brandi Carlile, Foals, St. Lucia, Lord Huron, Griz, Vince Staples, Anderson Paak, Poliça, Ibeyi, Years and Years, Jauz, Ra Ra Riot, Tokimonsta, the Knocks, DIIV and Jidenna.
The lineup was announced in a video featuring the Muppets’ house band, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, who will also appear at the three-day festival. A complete lineup, and day-by-day schedule, is available on the Outside Lands website.
Outside Lands will return to San Francisco’s Golden Gate park for the ninth year August 5th through 7th. Single-day general admission tickets, three-day passes and VIP tickets will go on sale April 17th at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) via the Outside Lands site.
Radiohead’s Outside Lands appearance will be their second major festival gig in the U.S. this summer following a headlining set at Lollapalooza in Chicago. They’re also set for two-night stands in New York and Los Angeles. In early June, Radiohead will perform their new album — the long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s King of Limbs — at Spain’s Primavera Sound. A release date and title for the LP have yet to be announced.
