Radiohead Announce ‘From the Basement’ DVD
Radiohead have announced that they will be releasing their appearance on the BBC television program From the Basement as a DVD and Blu-Ray before the end of the year. The band are selling the discs – which will come packaged with a free download coupon and 32-page hardcover book – through their website with the promise that packages will arrive in time for Christmas. The set will be available at traditional retailers in January.
The band’s performance on From the Basement was produced by their regular collaborator Nigel Godrich and includes live renditions of every song from their most recent album, The King of Limbs. In addition to those eight tunes, the group also performed the non-album single “Supercollider” and two unreleased numbers, “Staircase” and “The Daily Mail.”
