Premiere: Walk the Moon Play ‘Anna Sun’ Live in Cincinnati

Walk the Moon’s single “Anna Sun” has been one of this year’s surprise breakout hits. On this version, the band strips down their charged, dance-friendly sound to gentle acoustics. Filmed at Cincinnati’s Mockbee, this live version of “Anna Sun” was shot at the same location as the song’s official video. After working on a promo video that day, the band sat down to play some songs.

“The shoot this day involved us in tennis gear playing an epic match against an enormous 8-bit smiley face on a half-pipe,” says guitarist Eli Maiman. “After getting cleaned up and eating a bit of dinner, we played a short acoustic set, including this performance of ‘Anna Sun.'”

Walk the Moon’s next album, Walk the Moon, will be out June 19th on RCA.
