Postal Service Offer New Song ‘A Tattered Line of String’
The Postal Service have sweetened up their return by posting some new music: “A Tattered Line of String” features former Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis, lots of frantic bedroom bleeps, busy guitar dubs and Ben Gibbard’s unmistakable vocals. The track will be one of two unreleased songs on the Give Up reissue out April 9th, and was first premiered on Steve Lamacq’s show on BBC 6 Music. Lewis, who sang vocals on much of Give Up, is also on the other unreleased track, “Turn Around.”
