He revealed that he “may” drop a mixtape upon his release, raved about the success of protégés Drake and Nicki Minaj, said his biggest surprise visitor was Diddy, and claimed he had no regrets about going to jail but missed his kids more than anyone else while he’s been locked up. Rihanna’s Song With Katy Perry Won’t Be on ‘Loud’

Public Enemy’s Next LP Paid For by Fans

Public Enemy have raised some $51,000 in fan contributions to record a new album via the website Sellaband, after a similar attempt was unsuccessful last year. A statement from the group reads, “We just received word that our fundraising campaign has completed. This is truly a great moment for us and we owe it all to our fans on Sellaband – our true ‘Believers’. … When it’s all said and done, the bottom line is that we never lost faith in ourselves, our fans and the future of fan funding as a model.” [Toronto Sun]
