Against Me! Leaves Sire, Picks Up Jay Weinberg Temporarily
In a detailed post on Against Me!’s website, singer Tom Gabel announced that the band has amicably parted ways with Sire Records, apologized for the abrupt cancellation of their fall tour and announced some new dates this and next month, for which Jay Weinberg — son of E Street Band drummer Max — will be filling in temporarily on drums. Michael Jackson’s Father Files New Lawsuit
An attorney Michael Jackson’s father filed a new wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray, who is accused of involuntary manslaughter in the pop singer’s death. In the lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, Joe Jackson claims Murray wrongfully provided propofol and multiple other drugs to Michael before the singer’s death on June 25, 2009.
