Organizers of this weekend’s Coachella festival released set times for the upcoming three-day concert and gave attendees two extra reasons to celebrate the lineup.

Pixies and the Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas have been added as new additions to the festival, with the two acts set to play the Mojave tent (separately) on Saturday.

The release of the lineup is a perennial conversation starter among attendees, as much for who’ll they have to miss as who’ll they get to see. Do you go for Arcade Fire’s bobbleheads and regionally specific covers or Motörhead’s tinnitis-inducing metal? The bombastic EDM of Rolling Stone cover star Skrillex or bombastic rock of UK trio Muse? The social critiques of pop rule-breaker Lorde or throwback Big Beat sound of Fatboy Slim? It’s a lot to chew on.

The festival’s two new additions will each have new material to play. Last month, Pixies announced the release of their new albumIndie Cindy, their first full-length since 1991’s Trompe le Monde. The 12-track, Gil Norton-produced LP will be released through the band’s own label, Pixiesmusic, on April 29th and combines the group’s three EPs released since last September.

Casablancas has yet to reveal a release date for his upcoming solo album, but recently shared a preview of what he’s been working on with backing band the Voidz. The album will see release on Casablancas’ own Cult Records and will follow up his 2009 solo effort Phrazes For the Young. In addition to Coachella, Casablancas has a string of solo dates lined up in the coming months, including gigs at Lollapalooza in Chile (March 30th), Argentina (April 1st and 2nd) and Brazil (April 5th). The singer will return to the states on June 8th for two sets at Governors Ball: one solo and one with the Strokes. Casablancas’ Saturday set will be one day before Arcade Fire, but check the Montreal band’s bobbleheads carefully regardless.
