Pearl Jam Unplug for CD

Live set captured at 2003 gig

Pearl Jam will release Live at Benaroya Hall October 22nd 2003 on July 27th. The two-disc set captures a complete live, mostly acoustic set the band played at the intimate theater in its hometown of Seattle. The show benefited the local YouthCare charity.

Though Live at Benaroya Hall includes a tip to the band’s hugely popular debut, 1991’s Ten with “Black,” the majority of the songs are culled from more remote regions of Pearl Jam’s catalog, including compilation contributions like “Crazy Mary,” B sides like “Yellow Ledbetter” and soundtrack songs like “Man of the Hour.” Also included are covers including Bob Dylan’s “Masters of War,” Johnny Cash’s “25 Minutes to Go” and the Ramones’ “I Believe in Miracles.”

Pre-orders for the set will be taken starting June 21st through Orders through the band’s fan club will be packaged with a poster from the gig. The album will also be issued in a vinyl box set format.
