Paul McCartney to Answer ‘New’ Questions on Twitter

Paul McCartney will answer questions from fans Thursday in his first-ever Twitter Q&A to celebrate the launch of his upcoming album New.
Where Does Paul McCartney Rank on Our 100 Greatest Singers List?
The LP marks the former Beatle‘s first studio album of new solo material in six years, and features songs produced by Mark Ronson, Ethan Johns, Paul Epworth and Giles Martin. The singer last month shared a lyric video for the song “New,” and last week offered a peek at the album’s neon-light cover art by visual artist Ben Ib, who was inspired by the work of sculptor Dan Flavin.
McCartney has spent much of this year on the road for his Out There! tour, which included stops at Bonnaroo and Outside Lands this summer. More recently, the rocker shared three new tracks from New at iHeart Radio in Las Vegas.
The Twitter Q&A will start at 9:40 a.m. EST; fans can ask questions with the hashtag #AskMacca. New is due out on October 15th.
