Ozzy’s Mistress Michelle Pugh Sues Kelly Osbourne for Defamation
The same day Ozzy Osbourne revealed he was undergoing “intense therapy” to combat a sex addiction, the singer’s alleged mistress, hair stylist Michelle Pugh, filed a defamation lawsuit against the rocker’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne.
In a lawsuit filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court, Pugh claims that she felt “slut-shamed, bullied and harassed” following a series of tweets sent out by Kelly Osbourne after tabloids began reporting about Ozzy Osbourne’s affair, TMZ reports.
“Anyone looking for cheap chunky LOW-lights a blow out and a blowjob call [Pugh’s phone number],” Kelly Osbourne tweeted in May before adding, “My father is almost 70 ever heard of elder abuse?”
Pugh claims that the elder abuse accusation is defamation, and that she’s lost business as a celebrity hair stylist since Kelly Osbourne’s tweets. As a result of the barrage of phone calls to the salon where Pugh worked due to Osbourne’s tweets, she was fired from her job, Metro.co.uk reported in May.
A representative for Kelly and Sharon Osbourne did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
When asked about her daughter’s tweets, Sharon Osbourne said on The Talk, “What can you do but laugh? You have to laugh. And she’s just so funny.”
Pugh’s lawsuit also comes on the heels of a statement where Ozzy Osbourne downplayed the significance of their three-year extramarital affair, which Pugh called “the greatest love of my life” in a People interview.
“I’m sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context,” the singer rebutted on Wednesday. “I’d also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with. Out of the bad comes good.”
