Ozzy Osbourne has canceled upcoming tour dates in Australia, New Zealand and Japan as he recovers from pneumonia.

Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his upcoming shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan, which were originally scheduled as part of his No More Tours 2 tour. The news follows his postponement of the UK and European leg of the ongoing tour per doctors’ orders.

“Ozzy recently developed pneumonia and has spent some time in hospital. Thankfully he is now through the worst part,” Sharon Osbourne said in a statement. “His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for a full six weeks with no travel.”

The five dates canceled in Australia, New Zealand and Japan were to take place in March. He is expected to reschedule his postponed UK and European dates, which came following a diagnosis of an upper-respiratory infection, ostensibly in the fall.

Last year, the singer was forced to postpone a handful of shows in the U.S. after contracting a staph infection. Those concerts have been rescheduled to take place in July.

In the run-up to the tour kick-off, Osbourne told Rolling Stone that though the tour’s name may suggest otherwise, he is not retiring. Instead, he plans to do short runs and one-off concerts as he sees fit. “I’m no good at anything else,” he said. “I literally can’t do anything else.”
