Future didn’t need much promotion to get his new album DS2 atop the Billboard 200 as, after giving fans just a week’s notice regarding his third studio LP, the album cruised to Number One on the charts. DS2 sold 147,000 total albums in its debut week, giving Future his first ever chart-topper, Billboard reports.

The prolific rapper – Future also released two mixtapes in 2015, Beast Mode and 56 Nights, and three mixtapes total in the past year – more than doubled the opening week sales of his 2014 studio album Honest. That LP, one of Rolling Stone‘s 50 Best Albums of 2014, sold 53,000 copies on its way to a Number Two debut. DS2 is an abbreviation for Dirty Sprite 2, making this release a sequel of sorts to the rapper’s 2011 breakout mixtape Dirty Sprite.

Three more new releases managed to land in the Top 10: Alan Jackson’s Angels and Alcohol debuted at Number Three, Jason Isbell‘s Something More Than Free finished at Number Five with 41,000 copies and Tame Impala‘s Currents scored Number Seven with 38,000 copies, improving on Lonerism‘s Number 34 peak and 12,000 first week sales in 2012.

Taylor Swift’s 1989 grabbed the Number Two spot for the second consecutive week; since Swift’s latest LP arrived on the Billboard 200 39 weeks ago, 1989 has never dropped out of the Top 10. Last week’s Number One, Tyrese’s Black Rose, dropped down to Number Four, while Meek Mill’s ghostwriting drama with Drake couldn’t keep the rapper’s Dreams Worth More Than Money from falling Three to Six. Ed Sheeran’s X, Sam Hunt’s Montevallo and the Kidz Bop 29 collection rounded out the Top 10.
