Odd Future to Reform at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw

Tyler, the Creator‘s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival will return to Los Angeles’ Park at L.A. Coliseum this November, and a surprise act is among those recruited for the festival’s lineup: The rapper’s Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill ‘Em All collective. Earlier this year, Tyler indicated that Odd Future was “no more,” a sentiment that fellow member Earl Sweatshirt also shared. However, OFWGKTA is listed on the fest’s bill, alongside headliners Snoop Dogg and the Dogg Pound, A$AP Rocky and Tyler himself.
It’s unclear which members of OFWGKTA – which also includes Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats, Casey Veggies, Mike G and Frank Ocean – will appear at Camp Flog Gnaw, but a rep told Pitchfork that participating members would perform a full set at the festival. A limited number of pre-sale tickets for the November 14th fest will be available for Tyler, the Creator’s Golf Media subscribers on Monday, September 14th at noon PST; the general public on-sale will take place the following day.
In addition to the headliners and the mysterious OFWGKTA set, Camp Flog Gnaw will also feature Mac Miller, Danny Brown, YG, Atmosphere, Flosstradamus, Living Legends, Jhene Aiko, Willow Smith and Odd Future-affiliated acts like Trash Talk and the Internet.
In May, Tyler, the Creator hinted that Odd Future was finished when he tweeted, “Damn going threw [sic] the old golf wang photos, shit. I miss my friends a lot. Five years later isn’t that long but wow soooo much has happened. Although it’s no more, those 7 letters are forever.” However, Tyler didn’t elaborate whether the group had formally dispersed or if the success of the individual members made it difficult for the collective to continue.
