Norah Jones, John Mayer and Keith Urban Perform ‘Jolene’ To Honor Dolly Parton

The one-time-only supergroup paid tribute to the newest Lifetime Achievement Award winner

Last night at The Grammys John Mayer, Keith Urban and Norah Jones came together to honor Lifetime Achievement Award winner Dolly Parton, singing her 1973 classic “Jolene.” It was pretty great, but it couldn’t hold a candle to the White Stripes’ many live performances of the song. They also missed a golden opportunity to combine it with a song by the Ramones – who also won a Lifetime Achievement Award. How awesome would a “9 to 5/I Wanna Be Sedated” mash-up have been? Glee writers, take note: You can use it in a scene when the team is really exhausted after prepping for a competition.
