New Rock And Rock Hall Of Fall Unveiled
Little Richard, Joe Walsh, Ike Turner, Michelle Phillips,
Wilson Pickett, George Clinton, Bo Diddley and
Peter Wolf joined fellow inductees at the
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Thursday as the
Cleveland, Ohio-based museum celebrated the opening of its
newly-remodeled wing.
Providing a completely interactive experience for Hall
of Fame visitors, the newly constructed wing officially
opened Friday and features three 20-foot-tall movie screens that
will roll footage of past induction ceremonies.
In addition, the circular construction will house the world’s
most extensive juke box (containing more than 20,000 songs),
offering museum visitors a more intimate look at Hall of Fame
inductees in the form of interviews, animation and still
photography. New exhibit cases containing collectibles from the
museum’s current roster of inductees will also be included, giving
what Hall of Fame spokesman Tim Moore says is “a
much deeper feeling of who these inductees are.”
