New Reviews: Feist’s Best Album Yet

In this week’s slate of Rolling Stone reviews, Jody Rosen praises Feist’s new album, Metals, which he says lacks anything as immediately appealing as her hit “1234” but is nevertheless her best record. Also, J. Edward Keyes gives high marks to the latest from Irish singer Imelda May, on which she “exudes the dangerous allure of a 1950s pulp pinup,” and Caryn Ganz pans the ho-hum debut by American Idol winner Scotty McCreery.
