‘Nashville’ Star Connie Britton on Her ‘Lovesick Blues’ Duet With Hayden Panettiere
The drama never settles on Nashville, but tonight’s new episode of the country music drama finds Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) and Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) trying to sweep some of it away, as they team up for their first-ever duet on the show. Rayna and Juliette will sing “Lovesick Blues” at Music City’s famed Ryman Auditorium, the longtime home of the Grand Ole Opry.
“Those are the experiences on this show that are the reason that this show’s such an amazing experience,” says Britton in this sneak preview of the number. “To be able to walk on that stage and sing a song like that . . . it’s just dreamy.”
