My Morning Jacket were joined by a choir of sassy rocker girls and a full brass section for their performance of "Holdin' on to Black Metal" on last night's episode of Conan. The song, a highlight from the band's latest album Circuital, is one of the band's most ambitious tunes yet, with a riff borrowed from a compilation of rock music from Thailand serving as the basis for a groovy psychedelic show stopper.
