My Bloody Valentine announced on their Facebook page on Monday that they have completed their new record. "On [December 21st] we finished mastering the new album!" the alt-rockers wrote. The new LP is their first since 1991's Loveless, though they released the EPs 1988-1991 compilation earlier this year.

Last month, frontman Kevin Shields told NME that the band's new album will be released on his website before the end of the year, with an EP of new material to follow. My Bloody Valentine will play four UK shows in March and are set to headline the Tokyo Rocks festival in May.
