Motorhead’s Final Tour Featured on ‘Clean Your Clock’ Live Album

Professionally filmed footage from two concerts on Motörhead’s final tour, recorded just a month before Lemmy Kilmister’s death in December 2015, will be released May 27th as a live album and concert film. Dubbed Clean Your Clock, the 20-track live LP focuses on a pair of gigs the metal trio staged at Munich, Germany’s Zenith on November 20th and 21st, 2015.
Clean Your Clock will be released in a variety of formats via UDR, including CD/DVD or Blu-ray, double vinyl or digital download. A box set of Clean Your Clock will contain the colored double vinyl in gatefold with pop-up art and the CD/DVD of the shows, all encased with a Motörhead-emblazoned metal box; a limited edition box set dips that metal case in gold or silver.
The album features Motörhead classics like “Ace of Spades,” “Stay Clean” and “Overkill” alongside tracks off the band’s final two studio albums, 2013’s Aftershock and 2015’s Bad Magic.
Motörhead’s final concert took place December 11th in Berlin. Following Lemmy’s death from “an extremely aggressive cancer,” drummer Mikkey Dee promised, “Motörhead is over, of course. Lemmy was Motörhead. We won’t be doing any more tours or anything. And there won’t be any more records. But the brand survives, and Lemmy lives on in the hearts of everyone.”
