While Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood says the band has already “finished a group of songs,” drummer Phil Selway revealed in an interview that the band will reconvene in the studio later this week to “take stock” of what they’ve recorded over the last year. “We might just throw this all out and say maybe we need to go back to the drawing board. Just months after bouncing back from a brain hemorrhage, Bret Michaels will undergo surgery in January to repair the hole in his heart, a condition he’s had since birth. The hole was found while Michaels was recovering from his stroke. [Radar Online]

Fan Arrested Outside Madonna’s Home
Police charged a retired fireman with creating graffiti, resisting arrest and criminal possession of an ice pick (found in his car) after he sprawled messages outside Madonna’s New York home pleading with the singer to meet him. Said his lawyer: “My understanding is it’s not a crime to adore Madonna. If it were, the court would be a lot more crowded.” [BBC]

Karen O Records Track for ‘Jackass 3D’
Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O has recorded a cover of country singer Roger Allan Wade‘s song “If You’re Gonna Be Dumb, You Gotta Be Tough” for the soundtrack for Jackass 3D. (Different versions of the song have appeared on the soundtracks for the earlier Jackass movies.) Karen O is also a producer on the film. [Pitchfork]
