Moby Offers Music to Filmmakers for Free

More than 150 tracks are available for non-profit movies

Moby has offered independent filmmakers what seems too good to be true, but isn't: his entire catalog, for free. In a video on, the artist announced that more than 150 cuts and unreleased tracks will be available for non-profit projects for "independent and non-profit filmmakers, film students and anyone in need of free music for their independent, non-profit film, video or short." For commercial projects, all sync proceeds will benefit the Humane Society.

The catalog was established in 2008, and has been updated to include more than 150 tracks from Moby's body of work as well as 50 unreleased tracks, all available to stream in full for free.

Filmmakers and fans alike can browse and stream the catalog, request downloads and view the videos made using the music.
