Mariah Carey Tweeted on Monday that her hubby, 30, was trying to convince their unborn child not to believe in Santa. “Nick is being SO bleak trying to whisper to my tummy, ‘there’s no santa!'” wrote the singer, who recently released her holiday album Merry Christmas II You. “UGH! Please stop him!!!”

But despite his Scrooge-like move, Cannon insists he’s already feeling the spirit of the season.

“We love the holidays,” the comic recently told UsMagazine.com. “I’m pretty sure we’re going to take it to the next level this year! [Mariah]’s the queen of Christmas, but I think it’s going to be even bigger this year.”

It will certainly be different. Carey, who has refused to discuss speculation she’s expecting twins, has said her pregnancy has forced them to skip their annual trip to Aspen.

“I can’t go there this year because of the altitude,” Carey, who’s due this spring explained. “We’re figuring it out. Looking at different options.”
