Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour Coming to DVD March 30th
On March 30th, Madonna’s record-breaking Sticky and Sweet Tour will arrive on DVD, Blu-ray and CD. Filmed during a four-night sold-out stand in Buenos Aires that featured Madonna performing in front of 256,000 fans, the concerts’ set list ranges from her early hits to her latest studio album Hard Candy, with each show divided up into segments to reflect Madonna’s ever-changing personas and eras. The tracks on Sticky & Sweet include “4 Minutes,” “Hung Up,” “Like a Prayer” and, since this was filmed in Buenos Aires, “Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina.” Warner Bros. will distribute the release.

The DVD will come with an additional 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from the Sticky & Sweet tour. For a sampling of what might appear on the disc, check out the Material Girl jumping double dutch while singing in a live clip of “Into the Groove” that was filmed during the trek. As Rolling Stone previously reported, the Sticky & Sweet Tour was the most successful ever by a solo artist and the second-highest-grossing trek of all time, attracting over 3.5 million fans.
