Listen to Arctic Monkeys’ Pithy, Energetic ‘Suck It and See’

Stream the latest by the British rockers

This stream is no longer available.

The Arctic Monkeys’ fourth album Suck It and See finds the British rockers developing the nuances of their sound without sacrificing their youthful energy or becoming self-consciously “mature.” (Then again, how “mature” could an album called Suck It and See possibly be?) Frontman Alex Turner is still one of the most clever rock lyricists of his generation, but this time around he’s dropped the wordiness of their earlier songs in favor of a more droll approach to his observational humor. Suck It and See will hit stores on June 7th, but you can stream the entire album now.
