Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz Storm ‘Fallon’ With ‘Rolls Royce Weather Everyday’

Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz debuted the first song from their upcoming Collegrove collaboration, “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” on The Tonight Show Monday.
Backed by the Roots and Florida duo Black Violin, Weezy and 2 Chainz stomped through the bombastic, ominous cut with a potent chemistry and plenty of idiosyncratic lyrical weirdness. At one point, 2 Chainz seemed to shout out Netflix, while Wayne cracked about holstering a magnum pistol, “I keep that maggie on me, I think I’m a Homer Simpson.”
Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz have yet to announce a release date for Collegrove. For Wayne, the project follows last year’s trifecta of Carter V placeholders, Free Weezy Album, Sorry 4 the Wait 2 and No Ceilings 2. Weezy is also set to begin the second half of his Dedication tour February 18th in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As for 2 Chainz, Collegrove follows his 2015 mixtape, Trap-A-Velli Tres, as well as the 6-song Felt Like Cappin, which arrived in January. The rapper’s last full length was 2013’s B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time.
