When a man’s got the right woman beside him, troubles with the law and issues with the draft board seem like no big deal. Such is the free and easy tack of “Nothin’s Gonna Blow My Mind” by Lee Hazlewood, which comes from the massive new box set, There’s a Dream I’ve Been Saving 1966-1971: Lee Hazlewood Industries, due out on November 26th (and available here for pre-order).

Reissued by Light in the Attic, the project consists of material from the archives of Lee Hazlewood Industries and includes a 172 page LP-size hardcover book of rare photos, a DVD of the unreleased 1970 movie Cowboy in Sweden and four CDs of music. These 107 tracks include of all of Hazlewood’s LHI material including the albums Cowboy in SwedenFortyThe Cowboy & the Lady, and Requiem for an Almost Lady, his 45 sides and unreleased material.

Artists from the Lee Hazlewood Industries roster are also represented, including Suzi Jane Hokom, the Kitchen Cinq, Ann-Margret, Honey Ltd., the International Submarine Band, Arthur, the Aggregation, Sanford Clark, Lynn Castle, the Surprise Package, Virgil Warner and Hamilton Streetcar. A deluxe edition adds three DVDs of re-mastered audio material totaling a staggering 305 tracks that span 17 albums and 138 singles sides in both WAV and MP3 form.   

In advance of the project and in addition to “Nothin’s Gonna Blow My Mind,” an intriguing teaser video directed by David Black also precedes the set.
