According to a leaked Jive Records memo, Britney Spears‘ seventh album is scheduled to be released on March 15th. The as-yet untitled record will include her Number One single “Hold It Against Me” and multiple collaborations with writer/producers Dr. Luke and Max Martin, the man behind her breakthrough hit “…Baby One More Time.”
The Jive document mainly outlines the label’s promotional strategy for the record, which will be released as a standard disc as well as a deluxe version with additional tracks and artwork. The label intends to launch the album with a “major TV event” and is devising a “LGBT/lifestyle campaign” to promote the set, though the details of both plans are unclear.
The one-sheet also mentions that a video for “Hold It Against Me” is in the works. The clip is said to be a “sexy, edge dance piece” helmed by Jonas Åkerlund, a director best known for his videos for Lady Gaga and Beyoncé‘s “Telephone,” Christina Aguilera‘s “Beautiful” and U2‘s “Beautiful Day.”
