UPDATE 2: Lauryn Hill has canceled several of the remaining dates of her Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary tour, The Virginian-Pilot reports. Following her Pitchfork Music Festival performance last weekend, she canceled shows this week in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, and  St. Petersburg, Florida, per Live Nation’s list of Hill’s upcoming tour dates. Nixed August dates include ones in Jacksonville, Florida and Holmdel, New Jersey. Her Virginia Beach and Bristow, Virginia dates, which were postponed from July and rescheduled for August 16th and 17th respectively, have also been canceled. Hill’s July 31st appearance in Miami, Florida, at Bayfront Park Amphitheater has been rescheduled for October 15th. Her Nashville, Tennessee date has been moved to October 11th and her Atlanta, Georgia appearance has been postponed until October 13th.

According to a Live Nation statement via The Virginian-Pilot, the shows were canceled or postponed due to “unforeseen production issues.” Tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase.

UPDATE: Lauryn Hill recruited Nas, Dave Chappelle, M.I.A., Santigold, A$AP Rocky, SZA, Big Boi, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli and Shabazz Palaces to serve, respectively, as special guests at various dates on her upcoming 20th anniversary tour behind The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill

Dave East, Jo Mersa Marley, Bambaata Marley, Patoranking, Tierra Whack, Protoje, Kelela, Victory, Raury and Iman Omari, among others, will also appear during the trek. Chappelle and De La Soul will serve as support acts for Hill’s newly announced concert at Los Angeles, California’s Hollywood Bowl on September 18th. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, June 22nd at 10 a.m. local time.

Lauryn Hill will embark on a North American tour this summer to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her first and only studio album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

The trek comprises two legs, the first of which launches July 5th at the Veterans United Home Loan Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia and wraps August 8th at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. On September 7th, Hill will kick off her second run at the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. That leg wraps October 5th at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.

Tickets for most shows go on sale April 20th at 10 a.m. local time. Various pre-sales will also be held starting this afternoon, April 17th. Complete information is available via Ticketmaster.

After releasing two records with the Fugees, Hill embarked on a solo career and released The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1998. The record debuted at Number One on the strength of its chart-topping lead single, “Doo Wop (That Thing).” Over the past two decades, the record has been canonized as a genre-bending modern day classic of hip-hop and R&B.

Hill has not released another album since Miseducation, and the past 20 years of her career have been marked by occasional tours and self-imposed exiles. In 2013, Hill served a three-month prison sentence for tax evasion, but since her release, she’s begun performing more frequently. Last year, she linked with Nas for a North American trek. This past weekend, she honored Nina Simone at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland.
